Mrs. Maya Gupta is a distinguished educationist who has been making a significant and enriching contribution to the field of education for over 45 years. She is the Founder President of Universal Educational Society and the Founder Director-Principal of Universal Public School.
An avid reader, dedicated scholar, and keen observer, Mrs. Gupta has been deeply involved in children’s education, focusing on their holistic development, personality building, and nurturing of talent. Her academic background reflects her strong commitment to education, holding a Master’s Degree in Hindi and Sociology, along with a Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
Mrs. Gupta has travelled extensively, visiting around 16 countries, gaining global exposure to educational practices. She proudly represented India at the International I.P.A. Conference held in Tokyo in 1990. Further showcasing her academic depth, she presented a paper on “Ancient Education in Relevance to Modern Education” at an International Conference at IIT Delhi in December 2009, which received wide appreciation.
Driven by her passion for meaningful and value-based education, she emphasizes ethics, integrity, trust, and sound governance in schooling. Her dedication to nurturing young minds is also reflected in her authorship of four insightful books:
